A very special event will occur on ONE LIFE TO LIVE the week of Nov. 15: Blair will sing a song by her portrayer, Kassie DePaiva.
“I’m so excited about it,” says DePaiva, who will be singing “Sweet Angel of Mine”, a song from her new CD, No Regrets, on the Nov. 17 episode. In the story, Blair approaches Riley (Jay Wilkison) about Midnight Logic playing at Starr’s party. Initially, he declines, but when he sees how passionate Blair is about music, he changes his tune. The band ends up playing, and Blair helps out with vocals. “I’ll be singing my song, but Riley will be playing it. It’s a song she wants to do for Starr.”
Keep your ears tuned for more music from DePaiva’s 12-song CD. “We’re going to use a lot of the songs. They’re perfect soap opera songs: they are love songs and power ballads. It’s great music for Blair. So, it’ll be on Kassie DePaiva’s No Regrets CD, but it’ll be featured on ONE LIFE TO LIVE and I’ll sing them as Blair. It’s a little confusing,” she laughs.
DePaiva will be at Disney-MGM Studios in Orlando, Fla. on Nov. 12 selling and autographing the CD. On Nov. 15, the CD will be on sale at the actress’ official Web site, https://www.kassiedepaiva.com.
